Large lake fence off so you need to pay if you want to swim
Road twist and turns, looks like the movies. Railway line crossing over and under. Boulevard Jean Charcot
Planned picnic by the lake but ended up driving too far past it.

Mt ventouix cancelled, finish now at Chalet Raymond, about 5k down from the top on the other side. Had to make a quick exit from Mt Serien as we were on the wrong side of the mountain. Temperature about 10 degress warmer,, felt better already as I have been cold for 4 days. Slept in the car for the 5th night, flu still bad. Had pizza for dinner, which I think the whole town did as there were so many pizza restaurants. Bb 13k run up hill, amazing Enjoyable day, watched the caravan from just out of town and the rides in town at the roundabout which had the huge TV set up so we could watch the climb .

Still sick with the flu, so did a walk up Mt Ventouix and took photo's along the way. Trying to master close up shots. Didn't master it but had fun trying

Camping out for 4 days Mt Ventoux

Camped out at Mt Serein for 4 days as we waited for the tour to come thru. It was cold and I still had the flu. Must say this wasn't the best 4 days being sick and all. But this is a pretty part of the world. Got some nice walking done. Once walking up the track and once up the road. BB with his super human effort, ran up the hill everyday. Ahh, if only. Ate tinned corn, bb tinned carrots and peas. Cheeses tomato and baguette along with mustard for lunch. Drove to a couple of markets, Bedouin and mallacene, didn't stay too long, but watched them set up. After 4 days of camping, the tdf organizers cancelled the route to the top of Ventouix as it was far to windy and dangerous. So after waiting 4 days we made a quick exit to Bedouin to watch the tour past there.
