Camping out for 4 days Mt Ventoux

Camped out at Mt Serein for 4 days as we waited for the tour to come thru. It was cold and I still had the flu. Must say this wasn't the best 4 days being sick and all. But this is a pretty part of the world. Got some nice walking done. Once walking up the track and once up the road. BB with his super human effort, ran up the hill everyday. Ahh, if only. Ate tinned corn, bb tinned carrots and peas. Cheeses tomato and baguette along with mustard for lunch. Drove to a couple of markets, Bedouin and mallacene, didn't stay too long, but watched them set up. After 4 days of camping, the tdf organizers cancelled the route to the top of Ventouix as it was far to windy and dangerous. So after waiting 4 days we made a quick exit to Bedouin to watch the tour past there.

Annecy for day 1

After a little hiccup picking up the car . Drove straight to Carrefour did the shopping for the next four days, lots of tins of corn, carrots and peas along with ratatouille. Less that 1hour drive to annecy, showered after 30 hour trip. Bb went running, me walking to the centre Ville. Unfortunately picked up the flu.

Safely arrived at Switzerland. 4hours to spare so had to give some rosti a try.  We had 20 Swiss francs', all spent on one plate rosti and 2 cokes, very tasty, enjoyed every mouth full.
